Q: Why is the guy who knocked on my doors price so CHEAP
A: Most of the GYPSY sealcoater water down the product to get more jobs done out of one tank! This will look good as soon as they put it down but will fade, peel and wear out within the first year. But they don't care because you will never see them again.
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Yes we offer discounts to Military, Police, Fire, EMS. We also will give you a discount on your driveway if you refer a customer and they use our service, so the more you refer the less you will spend on your own driveway. We also offer neighborhood discounts and that is if you get an multiple neighbors to all have them done we will give everyone a disount
Q: Do you do Line painting for parking lots?
A: Yes we do all our own line painting, most sealcoating companies sub contract their line painting out to another company but we do it all in house.
We provide Crack Repair, Line Painting and Seal Coating for both Residential and Commercial properties and we are fully insured.
Q: When is the best time to seal coat my driveway?
A: Spring, Summer and early fall. The temp must be above 50 deg for 24 hrs while the seal coat cures.
Q: How long do I have to stay off my driveway?
A: In the Spring and Fall it is best to stay off the driveway for 48 hours to allow for proper dry time, during the Summer it is about 24 hrs but other factors contribute to dry time as well.
- Humidity slows the drying time
- Warmth and direct sun speed up dry time
- Shade will slow dry time
We do add an additive to every tank full that speeds drying and increases the durability of the final product.
Q: How much does it cost to have my driveway done?
A: Price is based on total square feet to be seal coated, the average prices around the market are 0.18 cents - 0.30 cents per square foot. Call around and get quotes and do your research!!!!!
Q: Someone knocked on my door and told me they could seal coat my driveway today CHEAP.
A: You get what you pay for and there are just as many uninsured GYPSY seal coaters out there. A Professional will not show up in a pick up truck with buckets of sealcoat to do the job. Most professional companies have tow behind trailer units with a commercial built sealcoating unit on it or an enclosed box truck with the unit inside. Again do your research don't get conned out of your hard earned money.
